Central Cargo is a mixed used project, comprised by a shopping mall, private offices, and 11 stories with 154 apartments.
The volumetric shifts between each level allow for open elevated gardens and terraces to be created, giving an added value to the apartments. The building has its own motor lobby in the back of the property, where services are located. This is also the entrance to the underground parking lot. The project takes up the whole front of the block where it is positioned and a plaza was proposed to invite the pedestrians in the area to use it as a public space and attract new visitors to the area.

Meridiano 101 is made up of two volumes that face eachother; one of them slightly rotated and more elevated than the other to facilitate privacy to the apartments that would face one another otherwise. These two volumes harbor a total of 124 apartment units and 9 commercial spaces with street access.
The volumes are interrumped by a transparent element where the Penthouses are situated, giving them a 360º view and an open terrace.
The amenities are located in the main floor level and between the two volumes.

Project.
Location: Ajijic, Jalisco.
Year: 2012
Total Area: 1,458 square meters
This project was born from the idea of designing a housing complex for people who are starting retirement and want to do it in a small, colorful, warm town like Ajijic.
Located in the lakefront area of Chapala Lake, the project seeks to give the users a unique experience of calmness, entertainment, and safety; its’ great views of the lake certainly give it a raise into exclusivity as well.
The complex is composed of two main buildings, with 5 housing units, a reading room, and a fitness room each. The exterior amenities feature a swimming pool, deck, and a spiritual contemplation area. There is also a game room as part of the general amenities, facing the swimming pool.
Privacy was one of the main concerns while designing the complex; this is why the main level has one apartment and level 2 and 3 have two apartments each.
